Today we’re looking back at truly York based wedding. The day culminated with a wedding at De Grey Rooms, however, this wasn’t before we made our way around some of Yorks great weddings spots.
The day started at the Minster inn, a popular place for pre-wedding guest to congregate before the day ahead. The day then led us on to the York Registry office. There, vows were exchanged and the happy couple were wed. We then made our way to one of my favourite wedding venues in York: Marmadukes hotel. After food and drink the wedding party made there way to De Grey Rooms. Sandwiched in between The art Gallery and York Minster, De Grey Rooms is an incredible, early victorian, building. And, in my opinion, it’s one of the best places in the city to have an evening wedding.
All in all Dan and Fiona were an amazing pair to photograph. A lively, energetic, fun and youthful couple! As a wedding photographer it doesn’t get much better than that.
